Stormsport Meetings and Activities

The best way to keep apprised of the Stormsport schedule is to subscribe to the mail list here.

Business meetings:

Stormsport business meetings are scheduled for the first Wednesday of every month at at the Blasco Public Library in downtown Erie at 7pm sharp. The Admiral Room is located to the left of the gift shop as you enter the front of the Library and should be open to us by 6:45pm..

The SECOND Wednesday of the month will be an Arts and Sciences Meeting at the Kearsarge Fire Hall on West street.

Fight practices in 2010:

There are no scheduled fight practices currently.

All non-blue card persons must sign an SCA waiver.

Equestrian practice:

Every Thursday 7-9pm at VanDee Stables. Cancellations will be posted to the Stormsport list before Noon on Thursdays (earlier if possible).  Equestrian practices may sometimes be scheduled on Sundays.  Sunday practices will be announced well ahead of time on both the Stormsport and AEthelmearc list. Now that the weather is turning if the temperature falls below 25 degrees there will be no practice.

Directions from all points to the stables:

Take your best route to the intersection of I-90 and US 19 (Peach Street Exit)

Get on to US 19 South and make your way in to the the right lane ASAP.

Turn right at the first light. (Oliver Road)

Stay on Oliver Road until you see the Vo-Tech School. This is a five way intersection. Turn a sharp left on to Hamot Road.

Stay on Hamot for about 1.3 Miles.

VanDee Stables is on the left hand side of the road.

Pull in and find a place to park.

Do not block the trailer access and parking areas.
